wednesday

i think my school is slowly undergoing a change in its policies. rules are being relaxed and we can now do what was previously impossible. for example, it has been 3 weeks since mr tan told me to cut my hair but no one has questioned my ever extending fringe.

i should attend those student leader meetings and lobby for greater freedom.

You Are 35% Left Brained, 65% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.

Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.

If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.

Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.

Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.

If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.

Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

i was bored.

tuesday

surprisingly i woke up at 9 today, considering that i slept at 2 am i think thats quite an accomplishment for me. Especially since it is the holidays and there is no real need to wake up quite so early. Then i went to toa payoh to meet up with my group to do the english project in the afternoon. Took some pictures of the fabric of the nation and then went over to delvin's house to finish up. Didnt really finish anything as we ended up playing table tennis and editing pictures of half naked teachers. After that i bought some bread from bread talk and ate it on the way home on service bus number 157.
Still feeling hungry i proceeded to gobble up my dinner then plonked myself down in front of the computer. Spent large amounts of time trying to beat a guy at online pool and then played a few rounds of hearts. Deciding that i was completely useless at pool after losing to my sister i finally brought myself to update my blog. Having nothing great to reflect about or anything interesting to recount i decided to provide a simple boring log of what i did over the course of the day, while leaving out potentially embarrassing bits. reaching the end of the post i remember something that i have tucked away behind in my mind.

this sunday is the sdba invitational finals and i am taking part in two races on that day. somehow i have always disliked competitions especially the tension before the race begins. but after the race begins my mind becomes focused and i just concentrate on doing my best. the hard bit is to suppress my nervousness before that makes me feel so bad inside. how do you change such a natural reaction when even if you know its going to be all right your body justs feels that way?
