for some odd reason, i was looking foward to this day, though nothing really interesting happened.

firstly, all the chinese teachers came and told us the grim but extremely 'duh' fact that we all did very badly for our chinese midyear paper. This despite the fact that our 'O' levels are only weeks away and they refuse to return us our papers. I think they are afraid that we will be demoralised by our lack of competence, but by leaving us in the lurch i feel much worse than if i knew where i went wrong.

secondly, i had my first guitar lesson today. my teacher is called tikum. or hikam. i couldn't hear him or remember now. anyway, it was kind of awkward, trying to hide my joy and looking at him with a straight face. can't wait for the next lesson. i sound like a giant n00b but i don't care; the guitar is so fun.

so that sums up my day. lame but, yeah, well, its my life.
